Live Opera performances

Right now there is an abundance of live and recorded music available online, much at no cost. Here are just a few:

Audio broadcast schedules can be found at operacast.com.

Current and recent opera video streams continue on OperaVision.eu.

The Bayerische Staatsoper has been streaming its new productions (free live, then on demand for a small fee). Currently available is Braunfels' Die Voegel: https://operlive.de/die-voegel/ (available only until December 5th). Highly recommended with an excellent cast and a new production by Frank Castorf.

There are live (and then on demand) performances more or less daily from the Wigmore Hall in London. These are invariably of a very high standard. https://wigmore-hall.org.uk/  (free but registration required)
